The Rajasthan High Court is set to welcome three judicial officers as newly appointed judges, following approval from the central government.
The Ministry of Law and Justice has issued a notification confirming the elevation of Chandra Shekhar Sharma, Pramil Kumar Mathur, and Chandra Prakash Shrimali to the esteemed positions. These appointments come after recommendations made by the Supreme Court Collegium on December 22, 2024.
The Rajasthan High Court, which operates with a sanctioned strength of 50 judges, has been functioning with just 32 judges. The latest additions will increase the number of serving judges to 35, still leaving 15 positions vacant.
This development is expected to bolster the court’s capacity to address pending cases and enhance judicial efficiency in the region.
