Delhi High Court Welcomes Two New Judges, Strength Rises to 41

Judicial officers Renu Bhatnagar and Rajneesh Kumar Gupta have officially joined the Delhi High Court as judges, marking a step toward bolstering the court’s workforce. Their appointment brings the number of sitting judges to 41, though the court still operates below its sanctioned strength of 60.

The Supreme Court Collegium had endorsed their elevation on February 5, with final approval from the central government coming through on February 19. Their oath-taking ceremony signifies another effort to enhance judicial capacity in one of the country’s busiest high courts.
