Dua Associates has rung in a season of promotions with a strategic shift at the top. Four lawyers—Sairam Arjun Suresh, Shailendra Singh Somvanshi, Angad Varma, and Prateek Bedi—have been inducted into the firm’s Equity Partnership, reflecting both depth of experience and alignment with the firm’s long-term vision.
Suresh, known for steering complex, cross-border commercial disputes, particularly in arbitration circles, brings dispute resolution expertise into the equity fold. Somvanshi’s elevation adds a corporate voice honed in sectors like FMCG and retail, while Varma continues to anchor the firm’s growing footprint in insolvency and litigation. Bedi, with a keen grip on M&A and corporate advisory, rounds off the quartet.
But the transformation doesn’t stop there. Eight more lawyers have been named Partners—Priya Kale, Rishya Belliappa, Chethan Sagar, Siddharth Agrawal, Prashant Kumar, Rahul Goyal, Toyesh Tewari, and Dharmesh Jain—each bringing distinct specialisations to the firm’s national bench strength.
In addition, four lawyers have stepped up as Principal Associates, while another eight now carry the Senior Associate title.
These elevations push Dua Associates’ partnership count to 82, as the firm reinforces its commitment to internal growth and multidimensional leadership across practice areas.
The message is clear: the next generation at Dua isn’t waiting in the wings—they’re already stepping into the spotlight.
