The WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center and Dreyfus & Associés will hold an online webinar on resolving video-game and esports disputes on 26 November 2026. The English-language session begins at 2.30 PM IST; a finishing time has not been announced.
The programme will introduce the gaming and esports landscape, identify industry stakeholders and examine common disputes. It will then consider the characteristics of these disputes and the reasons parties might choose alternative dispute resolution.
Participants will hear about mediation, arbitration and expert determination, including procedures available through the International Games and Esports Tribunal, or IGET. A further segment will examine domain-name disputes through practical case examples and WIPO’s dispute-resolution mechanisms, before a closing discussion.
For Indian lawyers advising game developers, publishers, tournament organisers or other technology businesses, the subject connects IP and commercial disputes with the choice of a resolution process.
The event is listed in WIPO’s published calendar. Its organiser-linked Zoom page contains the programme and registration form, which requests contact and professional details. Advance registration is through that form.
