The Delhi High Court has declined to direct the inclusion of MRKH Syndrome Type-II in the statutory disability schedule, holding that a disability percentage alone does not establish entitlement to reservation.
Judge / Bench — Justice Amit Mahajan.
In Anu Aravind P’s petition, decided on 14 October 2026, the court found no arbitrariness in the expert assessment rejecting inclusion. It said courts could not compel legislative expansion of the schedule. Her 50% disability certificate did not replace the requirement that the condition be a specified disability. A fresh representation based on new medical evidence remained open.
