C&S Partners is setting down roots in Mumbai, and they’ve tapped a familiar face to lead the charge — Rugved More, a name known for his grit in the courtroom and sharp advisory game.
A University of Mumbai graduate from the class of 2017, More’s legal track record is anything but modest. From arguing before the Supreme Court and Bombay High Court to navigating the intricacies of SIAC, NCLT, and SAT, he’s tackled everything from corporate disputes and arbitration to regulatory tangles and media law. His clientele reads like a power list — MNCs, NBFCs, PSUs, VC funds, and HNIs.
Before joining the ranks at C&S, More ran his own independent practice. His earlier stints include time at Trilegal, DSK Legal, and Luthra & Luthra — a résumé that pairs pedigree with hustle.
The Mumbai launch is more than just an expansion for C&S Partners — it’s a strategic signal. The firm has been ramping up rapidly, recently adding three partners from DSK Legal, and now planting a flag in India’s financial capital.
In the words of co-founder Bobby Chandhoke, the move is more than just business. “It’s a homecoming of sorts for Rugved,” he said, noting that More brings not only experience but a shared vision for delivering sharp, client-focused solutions.
