Justice Vibhu Bakhru has been entrusted with the responsibility of acting as the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, following the elevation of Justice Manmohan to the Supreme Court. Over the years, he gained recognition for his practice across various tribunals, the Company Law Board, and the Delhi High Court itself. In 2011, his expertise earned him the designation of Senior Advocate, marking a significant milestone in his career.
His judicial tenure commenced in 2013 when he was appointed an Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court. He rose to the rank of Permanent Judge in 2015, further solidifying his reputation as a respected figure in the legal community.
Justice Vibhu Bakhru’s appointment reflects his distinguished record and prepares him for this interim leadership role as the Delhi High Court continues to navigate its dynamic docket of cases.
