In a key move to fortify the Kerala High Court, the Supreme Court Collegium has given the nod for three of its additional judges to don the mantle of permanency.
The decision, sealed at the Collegium’s meeting on August 25, transforms the temporary appointments of Justice Johnson John, Justice Gopinathan Unnithan Girish, and Justice Chellappan Nadar Pratheep Kumar into full-fledged positions on the bench.
With this step, the Collegium reinforces both stability and continuity within the state’s judiciary, ensuring experienced hands remain at the helm of justice delivery.
