The Supreme Court has stepped in decisively to ensure a level playing field for NEET-PG 2025 candidates. In a clear directive, the Court has mandated the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to conduct the entire exam in one uniform shift. This ruling comes after concerns were raised about the fairness and transparency of splitting the exam into multiple sessions.
A bench of three justices emphasized that holding the exam in a single shift will eliminate discrepancies and uphold the integrity of the evaluation process. The decision responds to petitions challenging the earlier plan by the NBE to run the exam in two shifts.
Scheduled for June 15, 2025, the NEET-PG will now proceed under a unified timetable, ensuring all candidates face the same conditions simultaneously. This move aims to safeguard equal opportunity and maintain trust in the examination system.
