In a decisive nod to internal talent, Vaish Associates has rolled out a round of promotions that saw 25 lawyers rise through the firm’s ranks—seven of whom have now joined the coveted Partner circle. The move spans multiple offices and practice areas, marking a significant internal reshuffle and recognition of homegrown talent.
The New Partners:
In the firm’s Direct Tax vertical, Deepashree Rao, Aditya Vohra, and Aniket Agarwal step up in New Delhi, while Priyanka Jain takes the lead in Mumbai. The Indirect Tax division sees Vishal Kumar (New Delhi) and Arnab Roy (Mumbai) make the cut. On the Corporate side, Alok Sharma joins the Partner ranks from Mumbai.
Rising to Associate Partner:
Four lawyers take on the Associate Partner mantle—Sandeep Gupta and Swati Agarwal in Indirect Tax (New Delhi), Kaustubh Prakash in Disputes (New Delhi), and Padmanabhan Nair in Corporate (Mumbai).
Further Elevations:
The promotion list continues with Principal Associates Himanshu Aggarwal, Rishabh Chandra, and Pankaj Soni. Eleven others earned the Senior Associate title, including Shaurya Jain, Abhisek Singhvi, Prachi Bhatia, and Navya Shukla. Three team members—Aditi Garg, Jitendra Bhati, and Shaswat Dhamija—were promoted to Associate.
