The Jharkhand High Court has elevated ten advocates to the rank of Senior Advocate, marking a significant professional milestone for the lawyers concerned.
The decision was taken during a Full Court meeting convened on June 17, where the Chief Justice and the other judges of the High Court approved the designations.
The advocates who have been granted the coveted senior gown are:

- Darshana Poddar Mishra
- Dr. Hasnain Waris
- Prashant Pallav
- Amar Kumar Sinha
- Indrani Sen Choudhary
- Amit Kumar Das
- Rajiv Sinha
- Rajendra Krishna
- Kalyan Roy
The conferment of Senior Advocate status is one of the highest recognitions available to members of the legal profession, reserved for advocates distinguished by their standing at the Bar, expertise, and contributions to the administration of justice.
The High Court has issued a notification formalising the designations.
